Last max squat training before next week’s Testings….that’s also my first try for ME with the briefs on.
A- Squat 235 x 2, 255 x 2, 275 x 2 and 295 x 1….Finally one good squat training since back from Pitt. Form was good, didn’t feel too heavy (even 295, which was my PR up to now) and I got to do my last 2 sets with the belt to get the feeling of it for my true maxes next week.
B- Speed dead 6 x 1 @ 70%= 275…..Did the pulls with briefs on to seehow it felt; I’m not sure it really helps or even support anything with a conventional stance. Anyways, weights didn’t move that fast, but form was OK.
C1- Green band pull through 3 x 10
C2- SB leg curl 3 x 8
C3- TKEs 3 x 12/leg w/green
D1- Pallof presses 3 x 12/side…increased the weight and really felt it this week
D2- Straight legs serratus crunches DB 3 x whatever
D-O-N-E! Proud of my training today, really felt good on the squat and that’s what I’ve been waiting for for 3 weeks.
